Local Inn group raise over £28,000 for Macmillan

With the help of customers and suppliers, staff at two pubs, The White Horse and The Jolly Sailors in Brancaster Staithe, has raised another £2,000.00 for Macmillan Cancer Support.

Nicola Clark Fundraising Manager for Macmillan in West Norfolk and West Suffolk said, 'ACI staff have been fundraising for Macmillan Cancer Support for 12 years across their establishments in North Norfolk and Hertfordshire. To date they have raised over £28,000 an amazing amount that could fund a Macmillan nurse for 6 months. We are very grateful for the continued support on ACI and their customers who through this fundraising have helped us to provide support to local people affected by cancer. We just can't support the people we do without this sort of help so I would like to say a huge thank you to everyone involved.'

Said Christina Boyle General Manager at The White Horse Brancaster Staithe, 'We pull out all the stops to raise as much money as possible and this is an amazing amount to have raised collectively with The Jolly Sailors again this year. It was our pleasure to host the events and I must say a big thank you to our great team of staff, suppliers, customers and friends who so generously supported our fundraising. We hosted fun events to raise the money and we are delighted that all proceeds are being donated to Macmillan Cancer Support this very worthwhile charity.'
